How to Celebrate Post-Pandemic

We might be nearly there, but we’re not there just yet! Things are looking brighter every day and there’s much to look forward to and celebrate. So, while current restrictions won’t allow us to show off your moves on our (incredibly awesome and new) dance floor just yet, we’ve listed a few alternative options for you to consider so you can have the best time with your friends and family!
Tarot Reading
Reimagine your wedding entertainment with a tarot card reader. You can bring the readers out around cocktail hour or post-meal. This unique activity has been gaining popularity at weddings as a fun alternative entertainment option that gets your guests involved.
Outdoor Food & Drink
With warmer weather greeting us, take the party outside by serving food and drink ‘al fresco’ style. The fresh air, sunshine and cocktails make a fabulous alternative and allows for more space and wonderful photographs too! Let guests mingle for cocktail hour, have a seated wedding breakfast or choose canapes and cocktails through the evening, personalise your al fresco food and drink options to make the day a truly memorable one.
Late evening ceremony
An increasingly popular option for many, a late evening ceremony is a great option to explore. Try a sunset ceremony followed by an evening reception, with beautifully lit tables to create a romantic atmosphere!
Evening Film Screening
Make the most of your wedding evening with a screening of your favourite film! Surrounded by your family and friends, you can choose to have a screening indoors or outdoors (if the weather holds up!) Cosy seating, blankets and snacks like popcorn and candy would work perfectly and can really set the mood for a unique wedding!
Circus Acts
If you’re interested in something a bit different for your wedding entertainment, consider hiring a local circus act – we recommend the brilliant Wye Circus! Amaze your guests with dance acrobats, stilt walkers or fire performers to add some theatrics to the evening!
Cocktail Masterclass
Get your guests involved in a fun activity with a cocktail masterclass! Choose from a variety of classic cocktails like mojitos and martinis, or better yet, add a personal touch with the special couple’s favourite cocktails!
While these are all great options to consider, if you’d still like to go down the dance route, why not try a silent outdoor disco or a ‘dance in your bubble’ option for guests? It allows for more space and better social distancing – so you can stick to the rules while also having a good time!
The evening entertainment is a big part of the day and we hope we’ve given you some great options to discover. We’re happy to explore these options with you at Dewsall Court, you can find out more information and enquire with us over on our website.
